These are some of the issues coming in:

"Life is overwhelming, confusing, and I think negative thoughts now when I used to be so positive. My anxiety is through the roof, I'm told I'm irritable, mad all the time, and I may be depressed as well. My family is out of control, children won't behave and I just don't know what to do."

"My family is always mad at me for drinking too much. I don't know how to change my routine of drinking with friends, or drinking after work. I need help. I don't want to lose my family or my friends."

"I am having a hard time getting out of bed in the mornings. I may lose my job if I don't do something about my depression. I cry every day, every night. Nothing is interesting to me anymore. I stay home if I'm not at work. My house is a mess, I haven't paid my bills or taken care of normal household duties. I have no one to talk to and don't know how to get out of this mood."

These are just some of the conflicts people face every day.

Anything sound familiar?

"Marijuana is my go-to for anxiety. I don't see why everyone thinks that's a problem! I went to the doctor and got a Medical Marijuana card so it's legal. That should have made people back off, but instead, my family is on me worse than ever. They say I am using the 'card' as an excuse to smoke pot. We need to talk to a counselor to clear this up and save our family."

"My child is out of control. Always in trouble at school, poor grades, can't get along with the other children, disrespectful to teacher, and argues/talks back at home. I don't know what happened to my sweet baby. I don't know which way to turn to get my child and my family back on track."

"It seems like the world is against me. Nothing is going right and failure seems to be my new name. My spouse has checked out (won't even talk to me), my kids are a nightmare (terrible attitudes and behaviors), and my co-workers try to ignore me (we used to all be a close work-family). The more I try the worse it gets all around. Is it me? They say it is, but I think it's them. I am a good person, hard worker, good provider. What more do they want? I want to go to counseling to figure out what to do from here."

If so, Counseling is the answer. It's the best way to look at what is happening in your life. . . see yourself in truth; see who you really are.

Then - keep what you like . . . change what you don't!
